LEED Certified Project Managers
We are seeking an enthusiastic professional who is passionate
about LEED and sustainable design. While sharing his/her knowledge
on the multiple LEED Rating Systems and sustainability, this
LEED Specialist will be a key member of our widely diverse
client and project teams who will be obtaining LEED Certification.
From conception throughout construction, this professional
will be organizing and facilitating project meetings, training
team members, and championing the LEED documentation process
by following the required procedures to obtain certification.
This LEED Specialist will be working independently on LEED
documentation while positively motivating others through the
duration of each project.
The successful candidate will be a LEED Accredited Professional
with exceptional communication and organizational skills possessing
the ability to establish solid working relationships with
team members and our clients. Will have proven experience
with the project certification requirements, as outlined by
the United States Green Building Council, and has successfully
completed the certification process. A creative, progressive
thinking self starter who has strong technical knowledge in
construction products and documents while maintaining a willingness
to share knowledge with others is essential.
LEED Accredited Project Manager Job Description:
Local General Contractor in Portland, Or is seeking a LEED
Accredited Project Manager.
This LEED Accredited Project Manager will be responsible
for the administration and oversight of all documentation
and reporting related to project green building / sustainable
design practices.
Job Duties Include:
- Acquire a comprehensive understanding and interpretation
of the LEED rating system and each of the project specific
points being targeted.
- Administer orientation seminars to familiarize the client
and all members of the project consulting and design team
of their respective roles sand requirements as related to
the LEED rating system.
- Administer orientation seminars to familiarize contractors
with their requirements in connection with the acquisition
of targeted LEED points.
- Interact effectively with the other members of the project
management staff and provide progress updates as to contractor
status and adherence to their responsibilities related to
the LEED documentation and stipulations.
- Performing other related duties as required.
Job Requirements and Qualifications:
- Stable work history.
- Certification as a LEED Accredited Professional through
the USGBC.
- 5+ years of experience in the Construction industry as a
project manager.
- Experience managing a minimum of 2 LEED projects.
- Proven leadership ability.
- Bachelors Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering,
or Architecture strongly preferred.
