Craig A. Lenahan, Founder / President,
USGBC
Member
Prior to forming Smith Ridge
Craig worked in Asia as an Operations Officer for a
Tokyo/Boston based software firm. Craig's day to day
responsibilities allowed him to hone the skills needed
to effectively manage large projects and multiple groups
throughout the world at any given time.
Craig had been involved with his family's construction
businesses and New England Land Co. of Greenwich. CT.
for most of his life as a carpenter, manager and officer
for over 10 years. So the evolution of his career was
evident with his skill set and ability to design, create
and deliver a project on time and under budget.
Smith Ridge Properties has evolved into a cutting edge
Green LEED Certified Construction, Design and Development
Company with the foresight to see what its clients need
and want in their projects.
Just to name a few of the many responsibilities that
Craig has includes the overseeing of operations while
personally overseeing the quality assurance of the work
done is to Craig's discerning standards. With many of
those projects completed in his portfolio, Craig’s
scope of services extends from antique restorations,
estate improvements, ground-up construction of residential
green development projects to LEED Certified Developments.
In charge of internal and external construction business
development, Craig assembles proper teams to ensure
that the client’s needs are always met. Craig’s
strong leadership and communication skills help him
provide exceptional service to clients and deliver projects
on time and on budget.
Craig attended the University of Connecticut where
he studied business and economics he also attended classes
at the Sloan School of Management at M.I.T in Cambridge
Massachusetts.
William Schloth, Consulting Chief Financial
Manager, CPA, MBA
Mr. Schloth has been working with
Craig Lenahan for the past fifteen years. He has been
investing in and advising private and public startup
and middle market companies for over ten years. Most
of this time has been spent in senior management and
investment banking positions with various small to midsize
financial service and brokerage firms. Mr. Schloth's
investment experience includes recapitalizations, crisis
turnaround situations, growth equity, mergers and acquisitions,
negotiated investments into public companies and non-traditional
financing. He has participated on several boards and
was activity with management and asset integrations
as well as divestitures. His specific industry experience
includes consumer products and services, basic manufacturing,
financial services and interactive marketing.
Earlier in his career Mr. Schloth held senior management
positions with GE Capital, including Technical Advisor
Merger and Acquisitions and Manager Financial Planning
and Analysis. Prior to GE Capital, Mr. Schloth spent
five years with Coopers & Lybrand. Mr. Schloth also
has experience as an entrepreneur, successfully co-founding
then selling his own full-service brokerage firm as
well as founding a specialty high-end financial and
technology management consulting practice.
Mr. Schloth is a certified public accountant and has
an MBA from NYU's Stern School of Business in Marketing
and Finance. Mr. Schloth is also a licensed securities
financial principal and investment advisor. Mr. Schloth
lives in Fairfield, CT. is married with four children
and enjoys skiing, traveling, golfing and coaching.
Xiangqun Ding, Chief Technology Manager
Shawn Ding, started his career as a design engineer,
has been a leader/director in a technology for more
than fifteen years. In these management and leadership
roles, he has been in helping to drive successes based
on customer requirements—working on a variety
of projects, as well as been responsible for architecture
and technology direction.
Shawn holds Master degree of computer engineering and
Bachelor degree of electrical engineering.
Megan L. Robertson, BA, Lead Designer
and Buyer
Megan Robertson grew up locally
in Ridgefield and Greenwich, surrounded by a family
of Masons and Builders, who influenced her love of building
and architecture. Prior to her joining Smith Ridge Properties,
Megan has worked for renowned construction companies
as well as running her own company MLR Management and
Design. Over the last ten years Mrs. Robertson has worked
on many projects from small kitchen remodels to new
residential construction and major home renovations.
Megan graduated
from the University of Connecticut with a B. A. in Economics
and also attended Cambridge University in Cambridge
England, where she studied Art and Design.
